Last week I got to take my friends Kara & Eric out for a little celebratory engagement shoot around Anchorage. Towards the end of our shoot, Kara said something like: ‘You really do light up when you’re photographing people…’. It struck me to hear that reflected from someone on the other side of my lens. What I love about photography is that it is as much {or more} about knowing people as it is about composing a shot. Its great to know that my love for this work is evident to some of the people I photograph.
But, this isn’t meant to be all about me…Kara & Eric, I am so happy for you! I hope these photos will help you to cherish this transitional time, the best is yet to come!
