It isn’t very often that I get the opportunity to photograph family members, so this is an extra special post for me. I got to start claiming Krista as a cousin when I married Jamie, his extended family has been a huge blessing in my life. Eagle River Highland Valley Engagement Photos
We haven’t spent much time with Robert since he and Krista started dating so my reason for gifting them an engagement session was twofold. Reason 1: Its a fun gift for us to be able to give (I say ‘us’ because Jamie spent the evening home with the kids while we were out having fun in the mountains). Reason 2: I get Robert & Krista all to myself for a few hours so that I can ask a million questions and get to know Robert (and Krista!) so much better. I feel like my mission was definitely accomplished…I loved hanging out with these two and am thrilled to know that our cousin is marrying such a caring, kind hearted, goofy man.

Krista & Robert, I’m so sad that I can’t be there to celebrate as you two join your lives together at your wedding in just a few more days! I’ll be there celebrating with you in spirit!
