Fall in Alaska is magic. Where most places have red leaves on the trees, we have red tundra covering the mountains. Sometimes, if there are still blueberries hanging on the bushes they’ll freeze at night and then they taste extra sweet when you pick them, almost like ice wine. I love the low hanging fog and the crisp, fresh air and the smell of everything changing.
Susie & Matt had originally wanted to have their wedding in Hatcher Pass, but they settled on Hatcher Pass Engagement Photos…and you know I will never argue with that decision! We headed up Archangel Valley Road to do a little exploring, and I am in love with how this shoot turned out. Congratulations Matt & Susie…I can not wait for your wedding in Haines (!!!) next Summer.hatcher pass engagement photos in the fall
