I have been to Seward many, many times…often on the 4th of July to watch the Mt. Marathon Race, or to hike Lost Lake. Until now though, I have NEVER had the opportunity to photograph a couple there. Needless to say I was pretty thrilled when Hannah & Ryan proposed the idea of Seward Engagement Photos! I always encourage my couples to think of a location that is meaningful to them in some way, and bonus points if it is unique from what they have seen other people do. I am up for an adventure when it comes to engagement sessions, and really…in a place as huge as Alaska, what’s a 2 hour drive? I loved hearing that this less-commonly known beach in Seward is ‘Their Beach’, that they went there on one of their first few dates and now go back every time they visit Ryan’s family in Seward. Now this beach holds one more memory and becomes that much more meaningful to them.
