The season of shooting in fingerless gloves and layers upon layers of wool & down is back! You might not be able to tell by looking at these photos but…It was SO. Chilly. Good thing Frank & Courtney came prepared to make a little fire to warm up their frigid fingers. Oh Alaska, you can be a little cold sometimes. Good thing you’re so pretty.
One of the best things about being a photographer in Alaska is that there is beauty everywhere you turn. Because of that, I don’t ever have to do things exactly the same way twice. No one’s engagement photos should look quite the same as someone else’s. I try really hard to always visit new destinations, or at least capture new perspectives. This was my first Sutton Engagement session and it was well worth the drive for gorgeous views of Granite Creek and the river at sunset.
