For Kerri & Brian’s elopement, their planner Erin (from Alaska Destination Weddings) & I decided to do a little exploring and take them somewhere new. I LOVED this spot along the river in Girdwood and the dense green forest behind them. One of the best things about elopements is that you don’t need to worry about a venue, you can pick practically any beautiful spot that you feel is right and make it yours. There is no need for every elopement to be in the same location that you see other people using because Alaska is vast and has endless beauty! I really want to help my couples find hidden gems for their locations and am always up for a new adventure. Girdwood Elopement Photography
