One of the best parts of my job is that I get to explore. Exploring is my job! Pretty amazing, I know. I’m a little embarrassed to say that this was the first time I’ve ever hiked Portage Pass! I guess I can justify it by saying that there are just so many hikes in our beautiful backyard, it takes some time to cover them all. It is just such a spectacular view, and relatively easy to access…I can’t believe I didn’t do this one years ago.Portage glacier engagement photos
I often tell people that it is totally normal to take a little time to relax in front of the camera. Most people aren’t used to being photographed and it can feel a little awkward at first. For Kristina & Ryan this was simply not the case. They were natural and at easeĀ from the very first clicks of my shutter. I mean…just look at these first shots! Now, I will say that we had been hiking together for a while before this actual shot, so maybe that is part of it (when the people I’m shooting feel relaxed and comfortable, you can tell. the proof is in the pudding as they say.)
Kristina & Ryan. Lets just get to Summer 2017 already…yes? I can’t waitttt to shoot your wedding!
