Jana is originally from Russia! I have a fondness for people from Russia. I had an opportunity to go there with a group to work in an Orphanage one Summer about 8 years ago, and it was a life changing experience for me. I came back (to Canada, at that time) and enrolled in a Russian language course at the University I was attending…with every intention of going back someday. I haven’t gone back yet, but I still hope to. Maybe Jana will put me in her suit case next time she visits?!
We did Jana’s shoot at the Garfield Park Conservatory. It is a great location for portraits in the colder months, but also a beautiful venue for weddings! One of my first Chicago weddings was at the Conservatory.
