We both loved her shoes! I think Chris was laughing at this shot, sometimes men just don’t understand the shoe thing.
Maureen’s awesome ring was her something old, and her something blue! I love it, I’ve been looking for a ring exactly like this for a long time, just ask my husband!

These lovely ladies are Maureen’s three nieces, and they were also her bridesmaids.
I believe pretty strongly that its all in the details when it comes to weddings…little touches that go a long way, and make a wedding seem cohesive. I think there was a ‘feeling’ at Chris and Maureen’s wedding, it was simple elegance…and it came through really beautifully in the details…
I love wedding cakes, they’re one of my favorite details to capture (flowers and rings are up there as well!)
This cake was so perfect for the event, and I loved that it had a sort of vintage feel about it.
The venue for this wedding was just beautiful, especially if you are having a smaller (less than 150 or so) wedding. It is called Riverside Receptions, in Geneva IL.
The first dance…so lovely.
