The first time I met Liz and Joe was when I did their engagement shoot last year…and they had already hired me for their wedding! Brave couple, right? Good thing everything worked out perfectly, they are both wonderful people – so great to work with. One of the most fun parts of this wedding for me was watching Liz and Joe’s slideshow of photos at the reception – I LOVE those, often I get a little teary for some weird reason. I think I love them so much because it gives me a new view into a couple’s family and relationship, and watching it just made me so happy for these two! They’re a great match, and I’m sure they have a wonderful future ahead of them.
Now onto the show:
I loved Liz’s bouquet – one of my favorite parts about it was that it had sweet peas in it! I had never seen that in a bridal bouquet before.
Liz got her garter on etsy and the artist used old gemstones on the flowers as the something old…so it was her something old, new and blue – great idea! Love etsy.Love the green dresses, and really love the pockets in the dresses!
Gorgeous! The reception was held at the Roundhouse in Aurora – it was such an awesome venue! Everyone loved it. The actual reception was held in the ballroom, but there was a lot of other fun areas in the building to see, and really nice outside space for the cocktail hour as well.I don’t know the story behind this cake topper, but I think its darling…and it looks exactly like Liz and Joe.This was not your usual mother-son dance…I think they must have practiced cause they had some pretty sweet moves going on.Congratulations Joe & Liz! All the best to you both.

Hey Chip! I wasn’t sure until I googled Rosebud Lips, and saw their etsy store…it MUST be from them, they make some beautiful stuff!

  2. Is her garter from Rosebud Lips?

    Great work!
