Julie & Matt had a unique wedding. One of the ways it was unique was that the ceremony and reception were at different times (in fact, they went on the honeymoon before they did the reception!) It was pretty great actually, because that meant there was none of the usual stress that is sometimes connected to the wedding day! Julie described it as doing everything backwards, but I love that because it means that they just celebrated exactly how they wanted to.
The bling! Matt did a great job on this one…
The venue they chose was theĀ Ravenswood Events Center. It was my first time shooting a wedding there and I looooved it! It was such a unique space, I think it actually is a converted billboard factory. Not to mention, its like 10 minutes away from my apartment…so that makes it even more fun for me to work at!The reception started later in the evening, and the food was heavy hors d’oeuvres…the Ravenswood Events Center does their own catering and everyone was raving about how delicious it was!I loved the upper level! This was where everyone would move towards the end of the evening for dancing…the windows are amazing. This was a dancing crowd! I love that, its so much fun for me to take pictures of the dancing…one of my favorite parts of the evening for sure.Congrats again Matt & Julie! You two were wonderful, I LOVED your wedding and I hope you love the pictures just as much.
