I’m thrilled to share just a few images from Itai & Sabrina’s stunning Drake Hotel wedding from last weekend. If you have spent much time in the city of Chicago, you will likely be familiar with The Drake’s iconic sign in the twinkling skyline. The Drake is one of my absolute favorite wedding venues, it does not get much better than the Gold Coast room!
It was such an honor being a part of this celebration, I love how genuine and kind these two are and how they made such an effort to entwine their family and culture into their wedding day. One of the best parts of the day was admiring the intricately hand sewn Chuppah, made by Itai’s mother. The bride traditionally circles the Chuppah seven times at the beginning of the ceremony. As my first time photographing a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony, it was especially moving.
Congratulations Itai & Sabrina! Thank you so much for including me in your wedding day.
