I have been so spoiled with such lovely weddings to photograph this season! Before Luke & Devin’s wedding last week I had never been to French Creek Estates in Washington, but knowing the area I expected a beautiful spot. My expectations were exceeded by this perfectly quaint venue! It did help that the weather was also perfect – you can’t beat the Pacific Northwest on a sunny day.
If I were to choose one word to describe the feel of this wedding day, it would certainly be Joyful! What a wonderful theme to flow throughout a wedding day. My cheeks hurt from smiling by the end of this one, and I had the same experience while editing images for this blog post…I’m sure it helps that these two (Luke and now Devin are my cousins!) and their family are especially close to my heart.
