This has been a year of big transitions for my family. Because of that I capped my bookings to 20 weddings…when I hit 20, the plan was to just say no to any more that came along.
I was at 20 when Britta got engaged to Cody, and yet here I am posting my photos from their wedding!
There aren’t too many people who I would have gone over my limit for, but Britta is one of them. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know her over the past couple of years (she is a talented photographer, see her work here) and would have been incredibly sad to stand by and let someone else capture her and Cody’s wedding day!
A couple things I should mention:
1. This wedding was gorgeous, and so perfect for Britta & Cody. You’ll be swooning as I was, I’m sure.
2. BHLDN is amazing…finally I got to photograph one of their gorgeous dresses {thank you Britta!}
3. Cody, you’re a big softie and you made me cry for the first time ever during a First Look.

first off, I loved everything about my wedding day. however, a small part of me always wanted to have an outdoor country chic style wedding and this wedding would just about fit everything I could have imagined for that kind of day—it looks beautiful and you did a great job! best wishes to the couple! 🙂

Know what I love most about these pictures? In every single shot, you can see the love the groom has for his bride beam from his face. He adores her in every picture. Beautiful wedding! Love the boots!
