One very cool thing about my job (that I didn’t expect when I started out) is all of the opportunities that have come along to photograph the weddings of people who I know personally. Photographing a room full of people that I know (well, know of…recognize…) is actually less intimidating and way more fun than I originally thought it would be. Elise and Ben both attended the seminary that Jamie went to, and although I didn’t know Ben personally until now, we actually attended college together. Needless to say, I knew many people in the room on their wedding day and had a fantastic time capturing all of them…especially on the dance floor : )
