I first met Emily & Ryan at the unbelievable Ultima Thule Lodge this past Summer, and knew that from that brief interaction that I would be pretty lucky if they chose me to photograph their upcoming wedding. It is so rare for people to move to a place and immediately start investing in the community the way these two have. I just really love it when people think outside the box. It didn’t surprise me that a typical engagement session wasn’t interesting to these two, so we decided to spend a couple hours skijoring with their dog Storm! My first skijoring e-shoot, but hopefully not my last. We finished off the night with a few sunset photos off the highway near their home in Girdwood, and I drove away pretty excited about continuing in my Alaskan-photography adventure. Thanks, Ryan & Emily!
