Downtown Chicago engagement sessions will probably never get old for me, the options are endless and each shoot really takes on a life of its own depending on the weather, the time of day, the neighborhood chosen and most importantly, the couple being photographed! Sometimes (as it was in this case) I don’t get the opportunity to meet my couples face to face until the engagement session. Usually we do talk on the phone and via email during the process of booking their wedding, so I know if I get a good ‘vibe’ pretty quickly…but still, it is that first face to face meeting that really means a lot. Can I just say that I just love Jenny & Mike, and I could not ask for a sweeter couple to be working with! I am so blessed to have clients like these. To me, it certainly did not feel like this was our first time together but more like we’d been friends for a long time and were just catching up…that is the best thing I could hope for at an engagement session. Mike & Jenny, congratulations again on your engagement! I can’t wait to photograph you again next Summer at River Roast (aka Fultons…I’m still getting used to that one!).
