Katiya is from Alaska…Thomas is from Sweden, and they met and fell in love in Chicago. I was thrilled to be able to capture some Chicago engagement photos to help document this sweet time in their relationship. Who knows where life will lead these two together, but after spending just a little time with them I’m pretty sure that laughter (and sarcasm!) will be a big part of their relationship wherever they find themselves. I’ve known Katiya’s family for nearly 10 years – when I realized that, it kind of blew me away! It is going to be a privilege to travel out to Unalakleet next Summer to photograph their wedding in Katiya’s home.
