Somehow when I arrived at Will & Casey’s wedding at Second Star in Homer I was completely caught off guard. Prior to the wedding I had heard very little about their vision for the day, so when I began taking it all in I was absolutely blown away…in the best way possible. It was the same kind of feeling that I sometimes get when looking at an Anthropologie catalogue. As in, every time I turn the page I find myself ooh-ing and ahh-ing over another beautiful detail. I can look at it over and over and each time find something new to admire. There were little gems of gorgeousness everywhere I looked! Casey {and her flawless taste} deserves so much credit for how well it all came together, and it was really fun to hear about how she and Will did all of the planning in tandem. The thing I loved most was that this wedding was far from ordinary. These two did what they wanted to do, and created a vibrant, festive celebration that was an authentic representation of their personalities. I have photographed well over 100 weddings and none have been quite like this one, and that is exactly the way it should be.

Thanks Erin! Casey’s dad made that arbor – it was gorgeous.
This wedding is so creative and unique! I love the glamour and floral colors. That arbor was killer!
Wow! Who wouldn’t want to make Alaska a place for a destination wedding?
