Things didn’t necessarily go as planned for Cailee & Joe’s Anchorage Engagement Photos last week. There were Forest Fires. Smoke. Rain. Restaurant Rooftops being Closed…etc. These two live in Portland so their session was planned for just a few days before the wedding and we didn’t have too much time to work with. So often in this business that is the way things go…and you just make lemonade. In the end we decided to go up to Flat Top because the weather looked best there. And you know what? It turned out to be be perfect…way better than anything we had been planning originally. I was reminded that sometimes simplicity is king, and that being flexible and optimistic makes everything so. much. easier. We couldn’t have planned for better light, and these photos give me heart eyes all over the place!
Cailee & Joe, I loved working with you from start to finish…I know that everyone is excited to see the wedding photos but I can’t bring myself to skip over these, they’re too pretty! Wedding photos to come SOON.
