The photos in this blog post give such a small glimpse in to the amazing people I got to work with this year. I do these posts year after year for my own closure and reflection. I think about how it all went in the past year and what I might want to try differently going forward. I’ve always been a list-master and a goal oriented type of girl, so things like this are my bread and butter!
It was honestly a little humbling for me to look back on 2016 and remember how much fun I had adventuring across Alaska with my clients, learning their stories along the way. This is my job, and I love it through the mundane hours spent behind the computer because of the times I get to spend out in nature or at wedding celebrations with these people. In a year that gave so many people (including me) cause to question the good in the world, my job reminds me so often that there are kind, soulful, spirited people everywhere. We just need to take the time to get to get to know each other. Alaska Wedding Photographer
A note about 2017: If you are one of the many people who have recently gotten engaged and you’re considering hiring me as your wedding photographer…please get in touch right away! I am nearly at capacity for the year and I’d love to connect with a couple more couples planning beautiful Alaskan weddings & elopements! Soon 2017 will be closed and I’ll only be accepting 2018 bookings.

I’d love that too, Kandise! I think the next trip you all take should be to Alaska 🙂
Erica these are so beautiful. And Alaska is stunning, I’d love to adventure it with you behind the camera someday!
What an incredible year, Erica! The way you capture scenery and nature continues to blow me away, but also so many intimate and joyful moments mixed in there too! Can’t wait to see what 2017 brings for you and your clients!
