An intimate Alaskan Winter wedding? Yes. Every day, yes. It also helps when the bride is a knock out and has amazing taste…clearly, I have been looking forward to shooting Caitlin & Jaosn’s wedding for months.
As we all know, in Alaska you can absolutely never predict the weather. When planning an Anchorage Winter wedding, you must know that flexibility needs to be built in to the day. The weather can pretty much do whatever, whenever. On the morning of Caitlin & Jason’s wedding I woke up to a snow globe outside my window, and it. was. glorious! It definitely changed some plans and made driving a little tricky. More importantly though, the heavy snowfall provided the backdrop for some really unique and stunning portraits outside. {I was very impressed by Caitlin’s Californian bridesmaids who stood outside in the cold with smiles on their faces.}
Congratulations Jason & Caitlin, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day.
