Whenever I get the chance to photograph a bride & groom at the top of the tram at Alyeska Resort, its a good day. It was snowing heavily all day long on Matt & Kara’s wedding day and even though we couldn’t see the incredible views, the falling snow made their day feel extra-special.
As with most weddings, a couple of mildly stressful things happened; My second shooter Jade ended up sewing Kara in to her wedding dress…yep. Also, Matt happened to choose the most slippery pair of men’s dress shoes ever created, and thankfully I carry my kahtoola’s to every Winter wedding! Despite these little things popping up, Matt & Kara continued to laugh and let it roll off like it was nothing. I’m ever-thankful to work with people like these two and their wonderful families!
