I’m sharing something a little different today…a recent portrait session with the lovely Laura. Laura has been in Anchorage for several weeks for work and decided that she wanted some photos of herself in the beauty, just to celebrate a little. Anchorage Portrait Photography
I almost exclusively shoot weddings and engagement sessions, but I do occasionally take on other work. I find that in the middle of wedding season sessions like this can be a breath of fresh air! Just the kind of creative boost that I need sometimes. Laura and I wandered around the trails around Glen Alps and I just loved the little slice of Anchorage culture that we witnessed. It was 10:30pm and in most places that would mean a pretty empty trailhead…not the case on a sunny night in Anchorage. People were out in droves soaking up the midsummer sun and I swear you could feel people’s joy…the good vibes were flowing. I played with the light pretty shamelessly during this shoot, here are some of my favorites.
