Oh my goodness, you guys. I don’t think we could have had a more lovely night for Julie & David’s Summit Lake Engagement session last week. I’m 100% sure that the night seemed even more dreamy because of how much we’ve been lacking in the sun department this Summer! It. Was. Glorious.
This session is extra special for me! Julie and I have known each other for probably about ten years now. We went to the same college in Chicago but didn’t really get to know each other until we were both living in Alaska. Julie is someone who I can always call when I need advice on home decor or want a shopping buddy. (She has seriously excellent taste.) She is insightful, honest and an amazing listener and I absolutely don’t take friends like that for granted. It has been a long time coming and I loved finally getting the chance to get to know David in person. Engagement sessions are good for that! I’m so honored to be the one who gets to document this wedding day in August…Julie & David I’m so very happy for you both and excited for all your future has in store. (I hope that someday I’ll get to eat tiny wild strawberries with you guys on some surreal kayaking adventure!)
