I’m probably sounding like a broken record when I say this, but I am so glad that Lee & Chelsea decided to schedule a maternity shoot! I know the feeling of being pregnant and feeling not very at-home in your own body. I know that a lot of women would rather stay away from the camera during pregnancy. But I also know the regret of skipping out on being photographed during my pregnancy with my first born. I love being able to document beautiful expectant mamas like Chelsea and creating a tangible memory of this fleeting stage. I hope that in a few weeks and for the years to come when they are snuggling their sweet boy, they’ll look at these photos and cherish the time that they were waiting anxiously for his arrival.
