There can’t be many more memorable ways to have a wedding wedding than jumping onto a helicopter for an Alaska Glacier Elopement. I’ve done several of these out of Knik River Lodge and the experience has been fabulous, every single time. Something that sticks with me from Thomas & Beth’s day is that Beth has a bit of a fear of flying in small planes, but she decided to go for it anyways. Thomas said she was doing it for him because she knew he would love it. I think that is a pretty awesome way for these two to begin their married life together, for Beth to step out of her comfort zone and do something because she knew how much Thomas would love it. I’m sure that there have been plenty of times that he has done the same for her.
After the ceremony we had the chance to stop along the Knik River for some more photos, and I loved seeing how thrilled their families were to spot a few moose along the way. It is so much fun to see people experience Alaska for the first time! Congratulations Beth & Thomas, thanks for choosing me as your photographer!
