I know that Allie and Andrew are waiting patiently for their wedding photos (coming SOON!) but in the meantime I decided to share their engagement session. These two were born and raised in Anchorage but recently moved down to Boise, so they weren’t able to do an engagement session until they were back in town a couple of nights before the wedding.
Often people go back and forth about doing an engagement session and I am always an encourager. I’m not trying to sell these shoots, I’m honestly trying to give people the best experience on the wedding day and I think that doing an engagement session is a huge part of that! Spending a couple of hours essentially hanging out and getting comfortable with the photographer (while they take gorgeous photos) of you before the wedding day goes a long way towards great wedding photos. Its 100% better than showing up and greeting each other for the first time on the big day. So, we squeezed it in. It gave them some time to breathe and laugh and even spend a little time alone together before the wedding day, and also to see that having their photos taken can actually be kinda fun. anchorage alaska engagement session
