Being based out of Anchorage engagement photography has the added benefit of incredible beauty just outside our front door. This may be one of the most uniquely Alaskan engagement sessions I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Just two days before their solstice wedding, Hailey & Ty took a couple of hours away to lead me up a climbing trail off Turnagain Arm in Anchorage. The views were breathtaking and even though the wind was blowing pretty hard on a steep rocky face, there was no way I wasn’t going to capture these two in of their element. It makes me so happy when couples think outside of the box and are up for a little adventure during their shoot.
