Megan & Patrick are one of those couples who I loved from our first meeting…and walked away with my fingers crossed that they felt that I was the right photographer to capture their wedding day. Needless to say, I was pretty thrilled when they booked me for their Dena’ina Center wedding in Anchorage this Summer! This was my first wedding at the Dena’ina and I have to say…it is pretty hard to beat the light in that place and the view from their terrace – such a beautiful Anchorage wedding venue.
In case anyone is wondering about the significance of the American Flag in the wedding, it is more than patriotism. Megan & Patrick met during the Mt. Marathon race on the Fourth several years ago, and then planned their wedding for the Fourth of July weekend this year. This flag in particular was with Patrick when he was deployed and has hung in his family’s home for years. I loved being able to incorporate that significant memory in to some of their wedding photos! Vendors:
