This is definitely a playing catch-up blog post! I almost never fall behind, but Birgit booked me last minute for their wedding, which was on a Thursday…and I already had 2 weddings booked for that weekend! I do double-headers often, but three weddings in a weekend is pretty chaotic even for me! I didn’t want to skip them altogether though, because I really did enjoy working with these two and shooting their beautiful, intimate wedding at the Four Seasons downtown!I LOVE this image of Birgit, she was just glowing on her wedding day, so thrilled to be married to Jim – that is something I love to see.Birgit and Jim decided to celebrate their marriage with only their closest family. They had a gorgeous dinner set up in the restaurant of the Four Seasons, where I definitely need to praise the staff for being SO wonderful!Love, love, *loved* their cake. I think the peonie on top was so beautiful. The end! I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into Jim and Birgit’s celebration!
*Also, you might have noticed that I watermarked these photos…something I don’t normally do. Here’s the thing…I hate photoshop. I use it when I need to, but ultimately Lightroom is my best friend. Lightroom doesn’t have the best-looking ways of watermarking photos so I just didn’t do it, even though I know I REALLY should be. SO I heard about this really simple download for Photoshop called Blogstomp through the fabulous Jasmine Star (pretty much an icon of the wedding photography world) and decided to give it a try. I LOVE it. I makes watermarking my photos so quick and painless for busy people like me!
