Anchorage Engagement Photos
I have been having the best time during engagement sessions this Summer. Some of them, including this one with Morgan & Galen have felt more like personal art projects rather than ‘work’. I think I’ve been creating some of my best work ever from these shoots. Maybe I’m a little exhausted because I’m shooting until close to midnight every night…but its definitely a happy exhaustion. I’ve been encouraging my couples to find new locations, (even if it involves hiking/biking/boating or flying to get there) and they have been absolutely killing it. My people are adventurers and explorers. They don’t care if every single strand of their hair stays in place, or their dress gets a little dirty and I love that. This spot along Turnagain Arm is one that Morgan & Galen suggested, and I was in photographer heaven when we came out of the willows (bear spray in hand) and arrived at such stunning spot.
