Ed & Rebecca had a beautiful wedding last weekend at Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst. The mansion was such a classic and unique venue for a wedding! I feel like the venue can really set the stage and create an atmosphere and the mansion was perfect…classic and yet unique.
Another thing I really appreciated about Ed & Rebecca was that they decided to go with a ‘first look’ so that we could do photos before the wedding ceremony. Sometimes I think people shy away from seeing each other before the ceremony because they think it won’t be as special. I think that it can be even more special…and I speak from experience because thats what Jamie and I did on our wedding day! Here is a photo taken right after they saw each other for the first time…no posing, this is all natural (and that’s what I love about a first look).
Willow! Ed & Rebecca’s adorable labradoodle puppy – reminds me of my Lexi dog.

I think this is one of my favorite bouquet shots ever…thank you old stuff in Wilder Mansion!
Love these.Love me a good ring shot.Rebecca’s adorable niece and nephew were the flower girl and ring bearer. So cute.Hmmm…lotsa people around here, aren’t there?I really enjoyed how Ed & Rebecca’s pastor did their ceremony, we heard stories of how they fell in love and when they knew that they wanted to marry the other – these two have shared some amazing adventures and memories! I love knowing that stuff about my couples.
So happy! I love recessional shots.I was really, really impressed by the food at this wedding – Chow was the caterer, and they also did the cakes and the table decor. The food was soooo good, highly recommended! Also, the owner was really nice and in the midst of her busyness checked in with me more than once to be sure that I had a chance to try the food. Very sweet.Congrats to you Ed & Rebecca! I hope you’re having fun at Oktoberfest…just another adventure to add to your list – right?
