It was only four days ago that Dan married Amanda on the beach in Mexico, but it was such a picturesque experience that it almost doesn’t feel real! The day was perfectly sunny and just warm enough, and 35 of their closest friends and family had gathered to celebrate something new. It was a perfect day.
Amanda spent a few hours in the afternoon getting ready in her suite with her mom and twin sister, Andrea.
These first two shots are different than what I usually post, but I just love them. Amanda was absolutely stunning and these shots capture her in a less traditional but really striking way.
Love, love this shot.Radiant! The bright pink flowers were a great pop of color all day (or should I say…colour, since you all are Canadian?!)See what I mean about picturesque? It was perfect!
So happy…Dan’s brother Justin was the Best Man, and Amanda’s twin sister Andrea was the maid of honor. There were guys selling stuff on the beach all the time, and one man was offering horse rides…I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to have a horse in our shoot, in Mexico, on the beach. So fun! This is one of my favorites. I love the soft light, and I really love how they’re looking at each other.Classic, foot prints and all.Perfectly staged little lifeguard stand…its like it was put there just for us.
Quite possibly my favorite shot of the evening:I honestly don’t know what inspired these two shots, but they just have a perfect slow-down time…capture the moment kind of feel.Hello! Gorgeous. (And, I loved her hair piece)Ok, this is my other favorite shot of the evening. You can’t ask for better light than this, and I love the palm tree lined street.Clearly, I didn’t make it to the reception before I had chosen plenty of shots for a preview. It was hard, ok?! There were a lot of instant favorites.
Dan & Amanda, thank you for being so wonderful! You two are a truly lovely couple and it was a pleasure to shoot your wedding. I hope you enjoyed you last few days soaking up the sun!
