I met Mikel & Frank in Millennium Park this weekend for an engagement session timed perfectly between rain showers! They chose to meet in the park because that was where Frank asked Mikel to marry him, almost a year ago. They will be married in just a few weeks! Lovely, lovely! Mikel, you’re beautiful : )I love the Pritzker Pavillion…its just so unique and has become a mainstay of the Chicago Skyline for sure. It was fun to get some more unique angles of it, and I absolutely love this one.Ooh la la…This was taken in the spot where Frank proposed…We agreed, its better to ask forgiveness than permission… and were able to get onto the docks at the Yacht Club for a few shots before the nice security man asked us to leave. He let us in for a bit but when we started to linger I think he was worried he’d get in trouble. I think some of the best shots happen in places where you’re not supposed to be. I took these next few with a long lens from the ground while Mikel & Frank walked across the bridge that connects Millennium Park to the Art Institute…love ’em.Mikel & Frank, I hope you love your preview! I’ll see you at the church in a few more weeks : )
