I loved absolutely everything about this wedding, and the way that Greg and Maria chose to celebrate their day. Let me just start off this post by saying that it was nearly impossible for me to choose which photos to include in this post…with that said, here we go!
The ceremony was held at the gorgeous Columbus Park Refectory which is a Chicago Parks District Building, the atmosphere there was absolutely a perfect choice for Greg & Maria…This is the moment that always gets me at weddings – I know I have to be a professional and not miss anything, but seeing a dad walk his daughter down the aisle…you know how it is.Following the ceremony we headed to a restaurant for a great meal with those in attendance – it was an intimate reception for just the closest family and friends.
The next night I met up with Greg & Maria at their after party which was held at the Northwest Cafe in Chicago. They had the party catered with tacos as the main attraction, and everyone LOVED the food. I also loved their decor here, luminaries and big paper lanterns – so fun!
The crowd wouldn’t let these two get off the dance floor once they started! It was fun to shoot these two as they were dancing, they were clearly just having so much fun!
When I got home from this wedding I couldn’t stop talking about it to Jamie, I just *loved* it! It was so fun, relaxed, unique, refreshing…wonderful. I know I’m gushing, I can’t help it…I just don’t know how I always manage to work with the best people around, I think I must be pretty blessed.
