Last Saturday Jen & Brian got married…in a bit of a winter wonderland! It was just about 10 days ago that Chicago was hit by a major blizzard and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath since then. Since my e-shoot with Jen & Brian I definitely developed a soft spot for them individually and as a couple, they are lovely people and so obviously in love – thats my kind of couple! Most brides would be a little discouraged by the cold and snow on their wedding day, but Jen was very positive about everything, and such a trooper! Her attitude radiated throughout the day and everything was perfect.
This is Elizabeth, Jen’s sister and Maid of Honor…getting the gown ready. The veil was made by Jen’s god mother and it was a work of art.Brian had a gift to give Jen before the ceremony…lucky girl to get a Tiffany’s surprise.
Love this shot. Such a sweet moment between father and daughter.Happiest face ever! I really did have fun with these snowy shots…and Jen & Brian were workin’ it.
We lost the light fast at this point, but I think it added a gorgeous drama each shot. For some reason, this is one of my favorite shots of the evening – two of the grandmas during cocktail hour.Jen & Brian welcoming their guests into reception.Pretty cake. Perfect for a winter wedding.Cheers to you, Brian & Jen! I wish you both all the best.
