I was so excited to finally meet Paul & JJ yesterday for our engagement session…they booked me over a year ago but we hadn’t met because they live in Hawaii (lucky). Its a big week because not only did we meet for the first time and do their engagement session, but the wedding is happening this Friday! We decided to wander around the Lincoln Square neighborhood for their session, because there are a lot of great indoor/undercover places to hide from the rain…We stopped in Ravenswood Used Books, which is the most jam-packed used book store I’ve ever seen! I’ve been wanting to stop in during an engagement session for a while now…turned out to be perfect for these two.Paul had written this note in advance because he knew we’d be stopping in a bookstore…JJ still hasn’t seen it, until she looks at these pictures : )Love, love this kind of tucked away spot to shoot.I think JJ loves gelato as much as I do…so we stopped at Paciugo in Lincoln Square  (delicious!)I can not wait to shoot this wedding…good thing I only have to wait till Friday! These two have such great chemistry, its perfect.See ya Friday, you two! This was a great warm up…can’t wait to show you the rest.

Stunningly gorgeous. Love your dress JJ – and the boys will love the one of you, Paul, in the little nook reading…I mean letting JJ read for you.

These are so fabulous it almost makes me want to get married!
