I’ve been kind of absent on the blog lately…sorry about that, we’ve been busy busy busy! But, I do have a real good one to share with you all today : )
Jamie and I travelled back to Minnesota last week for my cousin Ellie & Marshall’s wedding! I’ve been looking forward to this one, not only because its always fun to get a bunch of my family together, but also because I know my family…and that they’re amazing planners! I got to hear about lots of the great details they were planning along the way and I knew that this would be a fun wedding to photograph. Ellie and Marshall were married on his family property near Whitewater State Park in Minnesota, it was lovely! Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
It took a village…Sweet moment! Holding back the tears.I love this one!The brooch on Ellie’s bouquet belonged to our beautiful Grandma who passed away quite recently. Ellie gave Marshall   the brass whistle which belonged to our grandpa, who wasn’t able to attend. Both would have so loved to be at this wedding, and these momentos were really special ways to carry them near throughout the day.Naomi loved to play on this little bump in the lawn…I love this shot!
This was the first wedding I’ve shot where the bride pulled up in a horse drawn carriage!Instead of tinkling the glasses, when someone wanted the bride and groom to kiss they had to sing a song with the word ‘love’ in it…the wedding party kicked it off.Blueberry Pucker and Salted Caramel…yum-o.
Congratulations Ellie & Marshall! It was so fun for me to be a part of your day : ) I hope you love this preview, know that there will be plenty more to come!
