A couple of weeks ago I got a voicemail from a bride asking me if I was available to shoot her wedding (not unusual) …two weeks later (a little outside the norm for me!).
Fortunately I was shooting a wedding on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, and Kirsten and Dan were planning an intimate wedding celebration on that Sunday. Originally these two had planned on being married at City Hall, but more recently they decided it would be really meaningful to be able to invite their families to witness their ceremony and even more meaningful to have a cousin officiate! There were about 25 guests in attendance as they said I Do in the courtyard outside of Dan’s Uncle’s home…one of the most beautiful private homes I have ever seen, and the perfect backdrop for an intimate outdoor wedding.
