I always recommend that couples do an engagement session if at all possible. Not only because during engagement sessions there is time for great locations and playing with beautiful light…but primarily because it gives us space to get to know each other while they’re in front of the camera. Its not easy being photographed, for most people it is far from natural-feeling. I love being able to show people that the experience can actually be fun. It is also the best prep you can have for wedding day photos…everyone wants amazing wedding photos, and practice being in front of the camera really does make perfect!

All that to say, I’m so glad that I got to spend this time with Tony & Sarah. These two have fun together and they have a chemistry that is visible, which the best thing any photographer could hope for. Last week we did their Point Woronzof Engagement Photos (the site of their first ‘real’ date), and I can already tell that their Girdwood Wedding this Summer is going to be one for the books!

What honeys! These are lovely Erica. I love the way you’ve captured that white gold light 😉 They look so comfortable with you and with each other.
