Lately more and more couples are choosing to have an Alaska Destination Wedding, and I *love* being a part of as many intimate celebrations and elopements as I can. Natalie and Sam’s families came from the the East and West Coasts…they themselves came from Grenada, and we all found ourselves witnessing their vows on an incredibly beautiful day at the top of Alyeska.
As I told Sam & Natalie after the wedding ceremony, you don’t come all this way to stay in one spot for your wedding photos! I love that they were up for a little exploring. We started at the top of the mountain and then headed down to the coast along Turnagain Arm for more, I could have photographed these two all day…
It can be really stressful to plan a wedding from a distance, especially for Natalie’s mom who did an amazing job figuring out all of the logistics in just a couple of months! It was awesome to see how every detail came together beautifully thanks to a talented team of local vendors:
Venue: Alyeska Resort
DJ: R&R Productions
Florist: Uptown Blossoms
Coordinator: Fireweed Occasions
Officiant: Dorothy Torres, Castle Ministries
MUA: Gabbi Manni of MAC at Nordstrom (she saved the day by rearranging her plans for Memorial Day weekend to come and do makeup at Alyeska – so thankful for you, Gabbi!)
