One of the very best things that a couple can do on their wedding day is let. go. Let things happen, focus on what is important and just enjoy every minute of it. When the bride and groom are excited about their day and ready to show their guests a good time…then everyone will have a good time! I loved working Mike and Shannon for this exact reason. Somehow even the wedding ceremony was full of laughter and that vibe flowed throughout the rest of their beautiful day. {I also think that every wedding should have a Darren & Michelle, but that is an entirely different story!}
While I’m on the topic, I’ll just throw in this little piece of advice: Hire a wedding planner. Just do it. If you can’t afford the full planning option, at least have a day of coordinator to handle logistics and make decisions about last minute details. I think that people undervalue this service so often but having a planner allows everyone from the couple to their families and the wedding party to just be in the moment. Shannon & Mike worked with Lorell of I Do Events, and every last detail was beautifully taken care of.
Anyways…back to the reason we are all here! Congratulations Mike & Shannon, I am so happy for you two. Here are a few of my initial favorite wedding photos, with so many more to come:
