Knik River Lodge Wedding Tara & Michael chose to have their elopement in a spot that I’ve never been to before, Grasshopper Ridge overlooking Knik Glacier. We flew out of Knik River lodge with Anchorage Helicopter Tours. I’ve shot on that glacier many times but never been above it, and I absolutely loved this unique and stunning spot. Being able to stand in the tundra and view the glacier was stunningly beautiful and I hope that I’ll get to photograph more couples there someday. Knik River Lodge Wedding
When we got back to the lodge there was a fabulous vegan meal waiting for everyone, including a cake by Sweet Herbivore. The Knik River Lodge restaurant is a really fun destination not too far outside of Anchorage – if you haven’t been there already, definitely check it out!
