When Allison inquired with me and mentioned that their Anchorage hillside wedding would be at Andrew’s childhood home, I was just crossing my fingers that she would decide to book me for their wedding! I don’t often get to photograph at-home weddings, but I always love the ease of them, the intimate/family feel that you can’t easily create at other venues. Not to mention…my commute was about 5 minutes which was AMAZING!
I didn’t get to meet these two in person until their engagement session a few days before the wedding (check that out here!) but I loved them both instantly and it was clear from the millions of friends they had and the words that were shared during the toasts that these two are dearly loved by many.
