If anyone noticed that I wasn’t blogging as much as usual in the past two weeks, it was because I was in Colorado for my dear friends’ Ashleigh and Jesse’s wedding! I was a bridesmaid for this one, not the photographer. Let me tell you, it is a pretty interesting role reversal for a wedding photographer to give up her camera and put on a bridesmaid’s dress.
I was so excited to be in the wedding party, loved being involved in the whole week leading up to the wedding, and getting that time to spend with Ash. HOWever…their wedding was so awesome that I wish it were possible for me to be doing two jobs at this one!
This is going to take two posts…this first one is just photos of the Greenwoods and their ranch in Livermore Colorado – their ranch home used to be a hotel, built in the 1800’s and there is even an old post office on the property, so awesome. Dream home for sure!Jesse, Ashleigh and I took a walk up to the ceremony site – about a mile or so from the house to a buffalo jump…they had put up signs leading the way – here’s Billy (the ringbearer!) leading the way…This is for Jesse, he loves barbed wire shots.
