Every knit thing worn in this session was hand made by Jodie…isn’t that impressive? Knitting is something I have attempted to learn off and on but have never been able to master…maybe someday?! It completely endeared me to Jodie to know that she knits like a pro and has a yellow painted craft room in their new home. I always take advantage of engagement sessions as the perfect time to get to know my couples. I shamelessly asked these two endless questions about their love story. I learned how it was love at first sight when Jodie saw Mark working at the restaurant he co-owns in McCarthy summers ago, and they’ve been together ever since. Its crazy to think how different their lives might be if Jodie hadn’t decided to stop in to the Slow Down Cafe that day and had the courage to flirt with the handsome mustached man a little bit! I’ve never been to McCarthy before, but now its certainly on my list for a camping weekend ASAP. I can’t wait to capture Mark & Jodie along with their families as they say their vows this Summer. Its going to be a party, I can tell. Anchorage Engagement Photographer
