If you know me, you know I love Christmas. I love advent, the season leading up to Christmas. I love Christmas music and church services, all Christmas movies and TV specials, shortbread cookies, candy canes, and oranges, reading The Best Christmas Pageant Ever out loud, the parties, the presents, the shopping! One of my favorite parts is always the decorating, making our home look all festive. I love to use lots of lights and things that sparkle, and candles everywhere…probably at Christmas more than any other time of year I like home made things, and I’m drawn to all things Swedish.
I have a pretty serious Christmas Board on Pinterest, and this weekend Jamie made a tree that I pinned a while ago, the little wooden tree of my dreams! We decided not to get a real tree this year since we’re leaving a week before Christmas, but I *love* this little tree so much that I don’t think I’ll even miss it. I still found ways to hang some of my favorite ornaments, and used tree lights all over the house. Now I could just sit in our glow-y living room sipping on eggnog all day long.
