This year the Rose clan spent Christmas in Kona…don’t hate me because my in-laws have a condo.
I didn’t even realize how much the dark and cold in Alaska had affected me until we got to Hawaii. I felt like I was really waking up for the first time in a while! The sun and warmth just energized us all and it was wonderful.
We spent lots of time by the pool, we snorkeled with turtles and DOLPHINS (wild ones, it was unreal), boogie boarded, we toured a Kona coffee farm, we scooter-ed, tanned and read our books. It was lovely all the way around, and I’m not quite sure yet why we don’t just live there all the time?
I’ll go back to shoot weddings any time. Just putting that out there…
If you’d all just humor me for a minute, I’ll be re-living some bits and pieces of the trip in these photos.
